upcoming high demand business and reduce cost,; NSN served notice to employees
and concerned government authorities in India for the closer of Kolkata based
fixed line equipment manufacturing unit.
Last year NSN
offered VRS as well as internal transfers to eligible employees fulfilling Job
Profiles. Unfortunately few employees realised the gravity of situation and
opted for VRS at higher separation package. In notice, NSN clarified that they
are focusing on Mobile broadband compared to diminishing fixed line business.
