The recent drive my Indian
government authorities to counter the call drop issues with Indian Mobile
Service Provider's. Many Service providers reverted back strongly against
potential levy of fine for call drop.
The real state of voice and data access across Circle B and Circle C is
so bad that it should not be called Mobile
Services in any way. I personally carried multiple SIM card of Leading Mobile Service Provider's and Travelled
across three populated eastern state.
The voice network signal and call
drop was not there but signal level was not even there and forget about the
data access. “I have never experienced such a bad network that too after so much of
investment done by the service providers in the last 20 plus year”.
We must admit that the incumbent Indian Mobile Service Provider carry
highest level of expertise in network
management and user allocation optimization and then also they are facing
numerous issues and I must also thank TRAI
for numerous regulatory compliance
guideline which eats out Service provider resources.
Everyone is eagerly waiting forReliance Jio entry in the ring and its most of the collaborator and
competitor view that they will change the dynamics of Indian Telecom sector.
In My Point Of View, Reliance
Jio may consider the bottlenecks currently facing my Service Provider to
ensure that their network works properly. There is huge difference in trial vs.
commercial launch and it will be interesting to see how Reliance Jio handle it.
